HOME AND COMMERCIAL SMITH MACHINES REVIEWS
MATRIX G1 COMMERCIAL SMITH MACHINE
Although it would be nice to think that people in a gym would only use a squat rack and benefit from the whole different level of muscle recruitment in the real world gym users will require and desire it.
AND: lets face it, there will be a need for a smith machine even for the hard-going bodybuilder, now and again.
This is one of the very best, built to last and stable and it looks and feels like a premoium piece of kit.
The best bits:
Looks greatLong warranty on the frameMatrix is a well-recognised brand
What could be improve:
The contact points with the floor could be a little bigger to avoid floor damage
Verdict
Incredible smith machine for the premium, high-end gym, that your members will appreciate using every time they bang out those squats or bench press.
IMPULSE HOME SMITH MACHINE IT 7001
The impulse smith machine looks great and is well built and its 8000 aed less than the Matrix one we’ve reviewed here.
For a home gym I personally cant see the value in paying more, not when this one is so good and Impulse have a great reputation for long lasting, nice to use gym equipment.
The best bits:
The priceThe thickness of the frame ie. The quality is above par compared to its rivals
What could be improved:
Not much yet..The parts where the weights slide onto the storage is a little too slidey i.e.. A little dangerous
Verdict
Great price, good constriction, a 350kg weight limit and nice mechanism make this a great choice for the home gym or light use commercial gym.
